Sharing photos from Lightroom with others
LEVEL AVERAGE
Sharing your beautiful photos with friends, clients or colleagues is a great way to share your work and collaborate. Let's go through step by step how you can do this:
Step 1: Select the right collection
Open Adobe Lightroom and go to the Library module. Then choose the collection whose photos you want to share. Make sure the photos you want to share are in this particular collection.
Step 2: Make the collection divisible
Right-click on the collection and select "Sharing Settings." Here you can adjust settings such as the visibility and permissions of those you share the photos with. For example, choose whether they can only view or also edit.
Step 3: Generate a link
After setting the sharing preferences, click "Create Link." Adobe Lightroom now generates a unique link that you can share with others.
Step 4: Share the link
Copy the generated link and share it with the people you want to share your photos with. This can be done via email, social media or other communication channels.
Step 5: Review and receive feedback
The people you shared the link with can now view or edit the photos, depending on the permissions you set. They can also add comments, making collaborating on projects seamless.
Bonus: Automatically sync updates
If you regularly add new photos to the collection, you can set them to automatically sync with the shared collection. This way, everyone involved always stays up-to-date.
With these simple steps, you and others can effortlessly collaborate on projects and enjoy your beautiful photo collections. Adobe Lightroom makes sharing your passion for photography easy and effective. Have fun with photography!
