You have chosen a superior digital album! How to proceed now?

Step 1 - Fill with photos

First you have to decide which photos will go into the album. You determine which photos will go into the album with the Lightroom link you received by email. The number of recommended photos in the album:

FREE ALBUM?

    • Album size 30×20 cm. This is the standard free mini album with 20 pages ( 10 sheets): Choose about 30-50 photos 

ALBUM UPGRADE?

    • Other album formats with 40 pages ( 20 sheets ): Choose about 50-90 photos
    • Other album formats with 50 pages ( 25 sheets ): Choose approximately 90-120 photos
    • Other album formats with 60 pages ( 30 sheets ): Choose approximately 120-200 photos

The recommended quantities are just a recommendation. If you want to put 150 photos in a 40-page album you may! The power lies in being able to print photos "nice and big. And....with 94 photos instead of 90 I too can get away with it!

TIP: Make a folder on your PC with the photos you like for your album. So that you can already see for yourself what fits together!

You will receive an email from me containing a link that looks something like this https://lightroom.adobe.com/bla….bla….bla this link is especially for you in here are all the pictures that you also received. You will receive this link upon receipt of payment for the photos. You can easily navigate through all your photos, by clicking on a photo and then using the cursor keys of the keyboard to continue scrolling.

Do you like a photo and want it to appear in the album? Just press the heart and the photo will appear in the album. Another login code will be needed to select the heart. That is also in the email you receive. Everything selected? Then send me an email that you're ready, and I'll get started.

Ordering a digital photo album through Lightroom

Are you really not up to it and still want extra pages so that more photos can be included? Of course you can! You can buy extra spreads (read: 1 spread = 2 pages). The prices are in the price list you received by email.

Step 2 - Shaping

Then I will digitally design the album, an "approximate date" will be agreed upon when this design will be ready.

Step 3 - Approval

Next, proof prints are made, this is also done digitally. These test prints will be presented to you for your approval! It could be that I have used a layout or text or decoration that you do not like, so that needs to be corrected. All this is done because an album is a beautiful and precious possession that will not be made quickly, it is too expensive for that.

Step 4 - Ordering

Upon receipt of payment, the album(s) will go on order with the supplier. According to the supplier, this delivery time can be 3-6 weeks. This takes so long because they are handmade albums.

Step 5 - Delivery

Then the delivery will take place to you via mail ( PostNL, DHL, or UPS ).

Family Pack Tip: did you know that you can also give both parents your digital album as a gift? 2 identical photo albums (incl. cover) like you have the large original but in a smaller size. So if you choose a pink album (just kidding) then the parents will also get it in pink. Take a look at the price list you received.
