4 ways to zoom in Lightroom + 1 BONUS
BEGINNER LEVEL
Here are a few ways to still see your photo nice and big in Adobe Lightroom
- The first method is through the toolbar. If you do not see a toolbar, press the letter T on your keyboard (T stands for 'toolbar'). Don't see the zoom option? Then click on the right on the triangle for all toolbar options. ( See video below ).
- The second method is through the navigator. If you want to zoom to 100% or some other value, just go to the Navigator pane in the Library or Develop module. Then click on the Fill, 1: 1, or custom zoom option in the upper left corner. Also useful; if you don't want to use the options in that Navigator pane, you can use the keyboard shortcuts Cmd +/- (plus or minus) on an Apple computer or Ctrl +/- Use on a Windows PC.
- The third method is the space bar or the Z key ( Z stands for "zoom"). In the Library module ( >> Library module on English-language installations) and you're in grid view, you can just press the space bar on the picture you've chosen. It's not full screen, because it still keeps the interface available. But it's just a single picture.
- The fourth method is to press the CTRL key ( Windows ) or COMMAND key ( Apple ) and then select the desired region with the mouse.
BONUSPress the F key!
Press the F key ( this stands for the English "full screen"). This is the simplest method. Wherever you are in Lightroom, just press the letter F and all setting windows disappear and your photo appears at maximum size!
